Ma délután bejelentették a 2018-as Oscar jelölteket. Ahogy várható volt A víz érintése és a Három óriásplakát Ebbing határában vezet. Igen nagy eséllyel a végelszámolásnál is ott lesznek.A víz érintése 13 jelölése pedig kivételesen jónak tűnik.  Ezeken felül még a Lady Bird és a Get out is több kategóriában érdekelt. Szerencsére magyar film is bejutott a legjobb öt közé. Enyedi Ildikó filmje a végelszámolásnál is ott van a legjobb külföldi filmek között. A rendezőknél legnagyobb meglepetésre Paul Thomas Anderson kiütötte Martin McDonagh-t, így a Billboards esélyei csökkentek.
