Magyar idő szerint negyed háromkor kezdték el bejelenteni az idei Oscar jelölteket a szokásos kategóriákban. Ahogy sejteni lehetett a főbb jelöléseket a LaLaLand, vagy magyarul Kaliforniai álom, a Manchester by The Sea (A régi város) A Moonlight (Holdfény) és az Arrival (Érkezés) kapta. Ismét van magyar jelölt: Deák Kristóf Mindenki című filmjét jelölték a Legjobb élőszereplős rövidfilm kategóriájában!
Jelölt lett még a Lion, Fences és a Hacksaw Ridge (Fegyvertelen katona) is. Színészek közül örülhet Viola Davis, Natalie Portman, Casey Affleck, Denzel Washington, Mahershala Ali és Mel Gibson is többek között. Így biztosan nem lesz idén gond a szinesbőrű jelöltekkel. Az Oscar díjakat február 26-án adják át!
