Ismét díjazhatják Emmanuel Lubezki operatőrt, aki két egymás utáni évben szerezheti meg az Oscart. Zsinórban harmadszor jelölt Bradley Cooper, ráadásul most duplán (producerként és akotrként is) A színészi kategóriában pedig minden bizonnyal négy új díjasunk lesz (M.Keaton, J.K.Simmons, Julianne Moore és Patricia Arquette). A díjakat február 22-én adják át.
